Aims & Objectives of Holme Manor
To enable our residents to enjoy as full a life as possible, taking into account their special needs and difficulties, which are individual to each person.
To take into account the social and emotional perspectives of a good life as well as the need for physical help and support.
To offer privacy, dignity and choice in as many and varied areas/forms as individually possible.
To respect individual's preferences in, for example, dress, food, religion, etc.
To encourage resident's in their right to express views as citizens, e.g. to vote, and to be involved in making decisions in the home.
To encourage independent thought and action, and to accept that residents may wish to take reasonable risks with their lives, in so far as they are able to appreciate and understand the hazards.
To ensure that residents are valued as special and unique individuals for the rest of their lives.
We will prepare a written care plan with your assistance, which, together with our other records, is available for your inspection.
Our care continues however frail and dependant a resident may become, and unless prolonged medical and nursing care becomes necessary we will continue that care for as long as it is required.
It is the duty of my staff, whatever their position within the home, to offer a stimulating environment in which the resident can live and grow whilst enjoying a proper quality of life.
