Home Care/Day Care – Scale of Charges

Home Care Rates

Per hour :   

Daily (including bank holidays)             £11.35

Per Visit

Half hour "pop in" visit                        £  6.39

Please note that the time taken by our staff in travelling comes out of your allocated visit time. This is to comply with the government’s Working Time Regulations. For example, if 10 minutes are taken up travelling, then a 1 hour visit would entail our carer spending approx. 50 minutes with you. The same principle applies to "pop in" visits.

Day Care Sessions

Are charged at £15.00 per session and include meals whilst with us. The sessions are as follows:

Morning (8.00am - 12.30pm)

Afternoon (12.30pm - 5.00pm)

Evening (5.30pm - 10.00pm)

These day care services are offered seven days per week. Different times of arrival and departure may be negotiated to suit individual needs. Collection services are carried out by care staff and are charged according to time taken in transit at the above care rates, i.e. 1/2 hour total travel time will cost £6.39.

NB Any client engaging a member of our staff independently will be charged a one off fee of £500.00.

Respite Care

Respite care at Holme Manor is charged at the current residential care cost prevailing at the time that respite care is provided.
