HomeCare Services is part of Holme Manor Residential Care Home, a well-established local concern which has been involved in providing good-quality residential and day care for many years. During 1992, we extended our services to offer the same high standards of care to elderly, handicapped, or housebound people within their own home with a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week community service.
Holme Manor is registered with Lancashire County Council, and reports are available from their inspection unit which confirm our good reputation. We are proud to have been chosen as "Preferred Providers" to Lancashire County Council of both Residential Care and Domiciliary Care. We are members of various professional organisations, the aims of which are to promote high standards of care and training. HomeCare Services is accredited by Lancashire County Council to provide care for Older People, Adults with a physical/sensory disability, Adults with learning disabilities and adults with a terminal/long term illness. Both Holme Manor and HomeCare Services are equal opportunities employers, and carry appropriate insurance cover (including Public Liability) exceeding the requirements of Lancashire County Council.

Statement of Aims and Objectives
We aim to provide a service to clients so that they may enjoy a good quality of life, with care provided on an individual basis according to need, enabling them to remain in their own home, thereby preserving independence, dignity, and self respect.
Client care will be based upon care plans, initially drawn up at assessment on referral. The preparation and monitoring of care plans directly relate to the attainment and retention of normal daily living activities.
Care plans will be reviewed on a regular basis with the client, the clients relatives (if appropriate), and staff. The objectives and methods of their achievement will be agreed with the client.
Within this care plan we aim to ensure that the clients rights are observed. These rights may be summarised as follows:
The right to choose
The right of privacy
The right of self-expression
The right to be an individual
The right of independence
The right to respect
The way that care is provided and organised should enable all clients to feel valued as individuals and preserve independence, thereby helping to retain their place in the community.
